Getting Rid of Hat Hair
January 14th, 2010 admin
In March, I’ll be shaving my head to raise funds for childhood cancer research on behalf of The St. Baldrick’s Foundation . Normally, I wear my hair aggressively short and low maintenance. Growing it out will make the shaving more dramatic. Having longer hair is driving me a little nuts. I now have to spend more time styling and maintaining my hair than usual. One aspect of having longer hair that’s driving me a little nuts is the dreaded “hat head.” It’s been colder than usual lately and I’ve taken up wearing hats for warmth. Take off the hat and the hair is a mess. Fortunately, …

Quite often, guys who normally wear their hair aggressively short come into the shop and ask for something a little longer for cool weather. I actually think that cool weather is a great time to go short. Think about it. In cool weather, you’ll be wearing hats, scarves, and knit caps to keep warm. These items keep you warm, but make it hard...
Lately, I’ve been growing my hair out a bit in preparation for a St. Baldrick’s Foundation fundraiser where I’ll be shaving my head to raise funds for childhood cancer research. I’ve kept an aggressively short haircut for most of my adult life (the cut hides the thinning and the gray), so having longer hair is a bit of...
The main cause of hereditary baldness is, as its name says, genetic. However, some people believe that losing hair is the result of poor circulation in the scalp, elevated stress, wearing hats and long hair or masturbation, which obviously is not true. Such rumours are also spread by the marketers of hair scams, who are trying to exploit our lack...

Rogaine gives me thicker hair By Tom, age 31, who has been using Rogaine for Men for one year: I am not sure whether other readers find it positive or not but one aspect of Rogaine for men that I like is the fact that it dries so slowly. It makes me feel that its effects last longer when compared with other fast-drying minoxidil lotions. I have used...
Today I couldn’t take it any longer and went in for a haircut. I had gotten a trim right before my procedure, and so by now my hair was badly in need of a stylist’s attention. I was a bit reluctant to make the appointment, because I was a little scared that my head would still be too sensitive, or that Megan (that’s my stylist) might hurt my...
Snippet from the article: Prince William has found himself in a hairy situation. The British royal, 27, appears on the new cover of Hello! Magazine with a suspicious head of full, dark hair, a far cry from his usual thinning mane. While it looks as though the prince dyed his hair, inside images prove the cover photo may have been the result of some...
Hello, I’m an 18 year old white male. I first started wondering if I was thinning a little over a year ago. Since then I have gone back and compared photos and noticed a huge difference. I can no longer grow my bangs out without them looking thin and scraggly, particular the hairs coming from the temples. I have gone to a shorter haircut, and...
