When the holidays approach, I often get asked questions regarding appropriate tipping etiquette for your barber or stylist.  Generally, for your last haircut before Christmas, it is customary to tip the normal cost of a visit.  If you normally pay your barber $25, then a $25 tip would be appropriate.  If you share a close personal realtionship with the person who cuts your hair, a small personalized gift would be appropriate as well.   For more on tipping, check out How to Tip Your Barber or Stylist .
